ONE DAY ONLY! Sunday 27 October 2024, 15:00 - 17:30* Join Jeroboam Bozeman, former Principal of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and Heather Star Benson for a Choreographic Masterclass. The event will include a 1-hour warm-up class led by Heather Star, followed by artistic development and choreographic exploration led by Jeroboam Bozeman. We strongly advise you to prepare your body ahead of participating in any physical activity and ensure you are fit and well enough to take part and do so in a safe environment. *British Daylight Savings ends on October 27, 2024 01:00 and clocks go back one hour. **A concession rate is available for students. Please contact heather@heatherstarbenson.com for details.** ABOUT JEROBOAM BOZEMAN Jeroboam Bozeman, a Brooklyn, NY native, made his final debut with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in June 2024 and is now making a leap from stage to screen. He joined the Company in 2013 and quickly gained recognition for his exceptional talent, with The New York Times praising his “singular, rugged grace” during his breakout season in 2015. He was the face of Ailey’s 2018-2019 season poster alongside Samantha Figgins and was named in Dance Magazine’s 2018 “25 to Watch” list. Bozeman's career highlights include a guest performance with London’s Royal Ballet in 2016 and a gold medal at the NAACP ACT-SO Competition in Dance. He has also performed in the international tour of Elton John and Tim Rice’s Broadway musical Aida in China and has been a member of Philadanco, Donald Byrd's Spectrum Dance Theater, and Ailey II. His performances have been described as “trance-inducing” and possessing “velvety fluidness” by The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal has praised him as “gentle and dignified.” In addition to his dance career, Jeroboam Bozeman has been featured in the #SpeakinginDance series by The New York Times and appeared in the September 2019 issue of Vanity Fair alongside Courtney Celeste Spears for Maison Valentino’s On Love Campaign. His story of persistence is included in ‘The Power of Determination’, a book for young readers that highlights true stories of individuals who pursued their dreams despite adversity.

Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Booked sessions cannot be rescheduled for a later date. If you do not attend a scheduled session, it will not be credited to your account. The client will need to book and purchase another session to receive the service.
